Although being naive isn't always looked at positively, it is easy to understand why being naive could be appealing in this situation. When you're young, you don't know as much and your mind isn't very corrupted. It is only until someone or something corrupts you that
your naivety disappears. Once it dissolves, it's almost like you pay more attention than you ever did before to the smallest things. This can throw some people off while others are able to keep on living feeling unaffected. This could be dependent on the situation at hand. I have learned, though, that knowledge is power, but only if you allow it to be. I also learned that with experience comes wisdom.
BRCA Positive is a blog that was formed in hope to raise awareness about the Breast Cancer (BRCA) genetic mutation. There are two types of BRCA mutations: BRCA I and BRCA II. People are still learning about this mutation and there are still a lot of questions about this mutation. My blog is designed to help offer support to those who are dealing with the mutation or have the possibility of testing positive for this mutation. The blog can also be for the loved ones of those who are BRCA carriers.
